Oh Henrietta III....

Logan wants to know what happened to I and II?!? Did they sink? Are they in the bottom of the Cape Fear River? Did someone blow them up? These are just some of the questions we heard a million times before we boarded the boat...I do believe they continued the whole week though!

On Wednesday, we were scheduled to go on a Sunset Dinner Cruise aboard the Henrietta III. I purchased the tickets several months ago. This was going to be our Anniversary meal, even though our Anniversary was on Monday. This cruise boarded at 5:30 and we set sail at 6:00. It was an All You Can Eat dinner....BBQ Ribs, Chicken, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Cornbread and Banana Pudding! It was VERY delish! I was worried about Logan not eating his monies worth. Well, he ate 3 big plates full..he loved the Ribs!

After we ate, we got to explore the boat. I still get rather queasy on boats but I still walked around and enjoyed my time. We ended up walking up to the 3rd deck (top deck) and sitting up there. ~Also, I sat at the same spot that Nathan from One Tree Hill jumped off the boat in one of the shows :)!~

We got some really good pictures but they are all on my camera so they will be up soon!!

VACATION......

is over :(

What a fun-filled vacation we had!! I honestly can't believe the 9 days have already past...it went way to fast. I haven't gotten the chance to download my pictures off my camera but I do have some great ones from my cell. I will be posting them in different blogs because I can't cram everything into one post.

There wasn't a dull moment this whole trip. There was some complaining from a little one when mommy wanted to shop but he quickly got over it!! I love the Riverwalk...I love to just walk and walk. They have some really cute shops and one of those is the Polka-dotted Flamingo (Jewelry store). We went into this shop last year and Logan loved it because of Chester. Chester is the owners dog (not sure of the kind, I think bulldog) but he greets everyone at the door and walks around with you. I went into this store 3 times on this trip and yes, I walked out with a bag all 3 times!! Their stuff is so cheap!!

~Logan waiting on me~

~Kyle waiting...He loved these chairs!~

~~I do have to share one HILARIOUS moment in the car!!! We past so many churches on our ride from the hotel to Fort Fisher for the beach. One church that cracked us up everytime was Korean Baptist Church. Kyle and Logan sang over and over "Amazing Grace" in what they considered the language of the church!!! We were going to go Sunday to check it out, but they chickened out!! ~Ask them to sing it for you!! :)

I love you more with each breath.....

On July 5, 2003, two people became one. I married my best friend on that day. Although, we started dating in September 2002 and after 2 months of dating, he popped the question!! And then we were married in July 2003....it was a fast ride, but I just knew it was right!!

Kyle didn't only fall in love with me but he fell in love with Logan. I had prayed that God would send someone special to love us both and to love Logan like his very own. God sure answered my prayers and he gave me way more that I prayed for. I love Kyle more with each passing day. He is my best friend, the best husband I could ever ask for and he is the best father in the world. I am so thankful for God's answered prayers!!

Kyle,
Thank you for loving us both. Thank you for your faith in our Saviour. Thank you for always protecting us and thank you for always doing what is best for this family. We love you and I am so in love with you. Thank you for asking me to be your wife and for making me the happiest girl around! I love you more today than I could ever imagine! You are my heart and soul! I am looking so forward to many many many more years with you. Happy Anniversary, Kylie! I love you!

Love,
~A

It's Finally Here....

VACATION that is!!!

We are all packed and ready to go!! We will be heading to our 2nd favorite place on earth...Wilmington. We love it there. It is so peaceful and the beaches are not crowded and there isn't a big, huge party scene. We look for a more family-based atmosphere.

We will be celebrating the 4th of July at the NC Battleship and then hanging out downtown until the fireworks. They shoot the fireworks off at the battleship, so we will be watching them from across Cape Fear River.

Our 7th anniversary will be Monday, July 5th. We don't have much planned for that day but we do have a Sunset Dinner Cruise around the Cape Fear River on Wednesday night. I am looking so forward to that!!

So...you won't be hearing any blog updates from me for at least 1 week! We will be gone for 9 days!!! So excited!!! :) If you are my friend on facebook, you can follow me on there, if not...you will have to wait!!

See ya in 9 days!!! :0)

I am thankful for....(very cute)

The partner who hogs the covers every night,
because he/she is out with someone else.

The teenager who is not doing dishes but is watching tv,
because that means he/she is at home and not on the streets.

For the taxes that I pay,
because it means that I am employed.

For the mess to clean after a gathering,
because it means that I have been surrounded by friends and loved ones.

For the clothes that fit a little too snug,
because it means I have enough to eat.

For my shadow that watches me work,
because it means I am in the sunshine.

For a lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning, and gutters that need fixing,
because it means I have a home.

For all the complaining I hear about the government,
because it means that we have freedom of speech.

For the parking spot I find at the far end of the parking lot,
because it means I am capable of walking and that I have been blessed with transportation.

For my huge heating bill,
because it means I am warm.
For the lady behind me in church who sings off key,
because it means that I can hear.

For the pile of laundry and ironing,
because it means I have clothes to wear.

For weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day,
because it means I have been capable of working hard.

For the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours,
because it means that I am alive.

And finally....

For too much email,
because it means I have friends who are thinking of me. :)

Thursday Fives.....

I enjoy reading people's blogs. Many of them do fun things on different days...I enjoy playing along. Today's Thursday Fives are....

Five things that have made me:

JUBILANT: That I get to go away for 9 wonderful days
with my 2 most favorite people in all the world!!

GIDDY
: That I get to play in the sand and water all week.....I
don't have to have a care in the world!! :)

EXCITED
: About my future... My future with my husband,
with my son, with my family
and hopefully (prayerfully) another child!

THANKFUL
: I am thankful for my salvation.
Thankful that I know where my eternity lies.
Thankful for my wonderful husband.
Thankful for my son.
Thankful for my family.
Thankful for my job.
Thankful for my home and safety.
Thankful for God's Amazing Love & Protection.
I am just thankful....

STOKED
: That I have 9 days AWAY from my daily routine!! :) :)

What has made you jubilant, giddy, excited, thankful and stoked on this lovely Thursday?

Crushed....

I am a Twilight fan and I had my 12:00am ticket but in the end I had to give it away :(. I was so excited to be going with my group of girlfriends...we all LOVE these books and movies. I love my sleep but I was willing to shorten my night sleep to be able to join these girls in the unveiling of the best movie ever!!!

Stephanie had gotten all the tickets and she had the night all planned out. We would all be going to the 12:00am movie on Tuesday, June 29th!! Well, my work decided that they wanted to have a mandatory office meeting at 7:00am on Wednesday morning and then I had to work until 7:00pm......so I decided that I shouldn't take part of this fun outing due to the fact that I would be utterly grouchy the next day!! If I would have went, I would not have gotten asleep until around 3:30-4:00 and then I would have to get up at 5:30-6:00 to get ready for work and then work for 10hours....I would not have been a happy camper :).

Tuesday morning, work decided to cancel the meeting so I COULD HAVE WENT AFTER ALL!!!!
Oh well....I just think we all need to go again!! Although, Kyle does want to be included in this "girl's night!"
